With more than 30 years of training and experience, Artistic Director, Marnie Palmer launched her dancing career west of Toronto in Milton, Ontario. With an extensive dance portfolio which includes Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acro and Modern techniques, Marnie is certified through the Canadian Dance Teachers Association and Dance Masters of America. Continuing to focus on her passion, Marnie further developed her Modern and Ballet techniques at University of Waterloo’s Dance program. Achieving an Honours degree, Marnie is educated not only in the physical aspects of dance, but has extensive knowledge in the history, kinesiology and physiological benefits of the various disciplines of dance.
Inspiring dancers of all ages and abilities, Marnie continues to be a role model for dancers. Yearly, Marnie preps dancers of all ages for their CDTA examinations. Many have continued with their own passion, passing teacher examinations and performing professonally around the world. Some have come full circle, having returned to Dance Elite as teachers with a variety of dance experiences.
Her choreography has won numerous local, provincial and worldwide attention including two medals for Team Canada at the I.D.O Worlds Showdance Championship in Germany.
