Jennifer Pender – Jennifer began her dancing career at the young age of three at a local dance studio in Milton. Throughout her 15 years as a dancer Jennifer was a very dedicated student involved in the recreational and competitive program, training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip hop, acro and musical theatre. She competed for many years winning numerous awards both nationally and internationally. After graduation she continued her passion of dance at York University majoring in Fine Arts specialized in Dance. Jennifer has completed numerous dance examinations and has been certified to teach by various dance teaching organizations such as Canadian Dance Teachers Association, and Dance Masters of America.
Upon completion of her post secondary studies Jennifer joined the Dance Elite faculty, the same studio she herself trained, and has now been teaching at for two decades. She is a teacher and choreographer in both the recreational and competitive program at Dance Elite, and is very proud of all the accomplishments of her students at competition which include overalls, high achievement awards and choreography awards.
Jennifer is very excited to be Dance Elite’s Recreational Coordinator, and looks forward to working with our recreational families each year to provide the best year possible to our dancers. She is eager to share her knowledge and passion of dance with all of her students, and help them become the best dancer they can be this season!
