TERMS & CONDITIONS 2023-2024

Upon registration with Dance Elite you agree to the following Terms of Service & Policies.

REGISTRATION

Enrollment is on a first-come, first served basis. If a class is full upon registration, please be sure to add your dancers name to the wait list so we can open more spots or add additional class times. Classes are limited in size; we kindly ask that families notify us right away if you need to change or cancel your fall registration.  Dancers are placed into specific dance programs based initially on age (as of December 31, 2023) and ability. Dancers may be asked by their teacher to switch to a more ability appropriate class if the material is found to be too difficult/too easy. Dance Elite reserves the right to change a class time by 15 minutes, either earlier or later, depending on registration. Classes must have a minimum of 5 dancers registered. A $40 non-refundable & non-transferable registration fee will be applied per family at the time of registration.

CLASS TUITION INFORMATION

Secure your spot today! Our season is 9 months; September – End of May. Tuition is prorated across all nine months so the amount stays the same regardless of how many classes are held that month. Fees will not be applied until September 1^st 2023. Charges will appear within five business days of posted fee schedule dates. Tuition payments will be charged to the credit card on file (Visa or Mastercard.) on the 1^st of each month. Fees posted online on the registration page are class tuition fees only, costumes will be billed separately. Please see our tuition fees below. We do accept postdated cheques. If you prefer this option for payment please notify our office.

NEW THIS YEAR RECREATIONAL MULTIPLE CLASS DISCOUNTS:

Sign up for 2 Classes & save 15% (per student) Discount will be adjusted by our office.

Sign up for 3 or more classes & save 20% (per student) Discount will be adjusted by our office.

Boys Discount

• All recreational boys will receive a 50% discount on class tuition fees. This adjustment will be made by our office.

RECITAL COSTUME INFORMATION

All recreational classes, excluding Parent & Tot and Adult Ballet will have the opportunity to perform in our year end performance which takes place at the end of May at The First Ontario Arts Center Milton. Each student will be measured and fitted for a custom costume for each class in which they are enrolled. A non-refundable recital costume deposit of $50 per class is due on December 1, 2023 . This payment will be made through the automatic payment with tuition.

RECITAL VIDEO INFORMATION

Our year end showcase is digitally recorded using the most high tech audio and video equipment. This recital recording provides families with a special keepsake to cherish for years to come and to share with family and friends. Every student/family will pay $25.00 (+HST) for a year-end video at the time the final costume payment is taken. Once our show is complete and the performance is edited, families will automatically receive a Digital Download of our recital. The download will be available via the Dance Elite website. Families will be able to choose which show(s) they want. An option for purchasing an extra Blu-Ray copy will also be available, for that same low price of $25.00 (+HST).

PAYMENT SCHEDULE   9 month season

Tuition and fees are due according to the chosen payment schedule of the customer. Payments made online are for LESSONS, REGISTRATION FEES AND COSTUME ONLY. The first payment will be processed on September 1, 2023. A $40 per family non refundable registration fee will be processed up on registration. A separate payment of $50 per recital costume will be applied on December 1, 2023.

AUTO-PAY MADE EASY

All payments will be processed through Auto-Pay on the first day of every month. Payment is set up through your online Client Portal. Clients must select their payment plan option either monthly (9 payments) or annually (full payment). We also accept a payment by cheque at the request of the customer.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

We require written notice to cancel registration. Please send an email to our Recreational Coordinator, Jennifer Pender, jennifer_danceelite@hotmail.com. Within 30 days of your registration date a refund of the tuition balance will be provided with no extra fees. A cancellation fee of $40 plus hst will be charged if cancellation occurs 30 days after your registration. If there is a remaining balance it will be refunded. Withdrawals will not be accepted after February 1, 2024.

NATURAL DISASTER OR MATTER OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

In the event the studio must close due to matters outside our control such as building closure, inclement weather, or natural disaster, dance families will be contacted by the studio via email. Refunds will not be issued for these closures. If our studio is forced to close due to municipal/provincial/federal guidelines, classes will be moved to our online platform for the rest of the month. Recreational dancers will have the option to pause their membership at this point. Competitive dancers will continue online with 50% of their current weekly dance hours. If required, we will extend our Competitive season to June 30^th to participate in a competitive event and further rehearse routines.

EMAIL

Communication is especially important between Dance Elite and dance families. By registering with Dance Elite you are giving permission to be contacted via our Constant Contact newsletters and emails. Be sure to also follow us on Instagram & Facebook for the latest studio news and updates.

ADDITIONAL TERMS

By registering with Dance Elite as a student, parent/guardian, you agree to not hold Dance Elite or its employees responsible for any loss, damages or personal injuries sustained while attending classes at Dance Elite.
